The one we would frame
Another exceptional service from JG Floors. Have been using this company for many years and have recommended to many people and they confirmed the same. The quality of the workmanship, reliability and consultancy is second to none.

The pattern
Three things keep coming up
We counted. Across all 47 reviews the same three points repeat, and none of them is about how the floor looks. That part is assumed.
- The price holds · 24 of 47 reviews
Half the reviews mention the quote, the price or value. One customer's floor turned out smaller than quoted, so James sent an amended quote downwards without being asked.
- They tell other people · 31 of 47 reviews
Two thirds use the word recommend. In this trade almost all good work arrives by referral, which is why it is the number we watch.
- They come back · 13 of 47 reviews
More than a quarter are repeat customers: second floors, third houses, "using them for many years". Nobody re-hires a fitter they had to chase.

He made the required repairs and advised that he would send me an amended quote to reflect the job being smaller than originally quoted. I would highly recommend JG Floors.10 / 10 · Flooring repair · Bishop's Stortford CM23 · February 2025
We had vinyl tiles fitted by another company which started to break up after only 12 months. He did an excellent job preparing the floor and installing new vinyl tiles. Great knowledge and advice. Fantastic end result.10 / 10 · Vinyl flooring relaid · Bishop's Stortford CM23 · June 2023
They turned up on time, completed it ahead of schedule and left everything clean and tidy when they had finished. All running to budget. Excellent work in every capacity.10 / 10 · LVT and laminate, whole first floor · Welwyn Garden City AL7 · September 2018
James is always professional, polite, trustworthy and tidy. He laid our new downstairs floor a few years ago and we were so impressed with his work. His quotes are fair and he takes pride in what he does.10 / 10 · Bathroom vinyl and bedroom carpet · Bishop's Stortford CM23 · November 2021
Second floor James has installed for me. The first floor is still as good as the day it was fitted. His work is top notch, reasonably priced and no messing around.10 / 10 · Amtico floor, en-suite · June 2018
