Flooring questions, answered

It depends on the floor and the space, but we won't hide behind that. As a guide, fitted and excluding preparation: carpet typically around £40/m², carpet tiles around £45/m², commercial vinyl £70–£100/m², engineered wood and parquet around £95/m², and solid hardwood from £120/m². The survey is free and the quotation is fixed, so you will know your exact number before committing to anything, and it will not change afterwards.

Because we prepare subfloors properly, use our own fitters, and fix the price instead of adding extras later. Cheap quotes usually give some of that up. You just find out which part after the job starts. If budget is the priority, we'll tell you honestly what we'd trim and what we never would.

A single room is usually a matter of hours. A whole house is typically a couple of days. Commercial floors are planned properly at the survey, and you'll get a programme before we start. We keep the dates we give, and it is one of the things our reviews mention most.

Yes. The price we quote is the price you pay. The only thing that changes it is you changing the scope, and we will talk before anything moves.

Almost always. We work room by room, protect everything on the route in and out, manage the dust, and tidy as we go. For businesses we plan around your hours, including out-of-hours and phased fits.
